''Wolverine'' Hugh Jackman once worked as a clown

You most likely know actor Hugh Jackman for his role as the badass character Wolverine from the “X-Men” movies, but you probably didn't know what he did before he became a Hollywood star.

Jackman grew up in Australia with his parents, devout evangelical Christians who were converted by Billy Graham after they married. During school, Jackman struggled to do well in acting classes. He explained to Shave Magazine a few years ago: “...I was like the dunce of the class.

It just wasn’t coming right to me as everyone was cooler, everyone seemed more likely to succeed, everyone seemed more natural at it, and in retrospect I think that is good…I think it is good to go into an audition thinking "Man, I’ve got to be at my best..." He also had to work a lot of odd jobs before making it big.
Recently, Australian morning talk show hosts Fitzy and Wippa revealed a great picture of Jackman in action before his rise to fame. Take a look: Yep, that's Hugh Jackman dressed as a party clown and performing in someone's backyard.
According to The Daily Beast and In The News, Jackman made around $50 per party. Apparently he wasn't very good at it, but he still gave it his best. “I am really bad at magic." “I was Coco the Clown, and I had no magic tricks, and I remember a six-year-old standing up at a party saying, 'Mummy this clown is terrible, he doesn't know any tricks.'" It just goes to show that Jackman was not afraid of taking a low-level job in order to pursue his dream of becoming an actor.

His dedication and hard work led to great success, both in his career and personal life. It was during his first real acting job in Australia that he met his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, whom he married in 1996.
Furness endured two miscarriages, eventually leading the couple to adopt two mixed-race children, Oscar and Ava. Jackman plans on taking his “Broadway to Oz” music show to Australia in the coming months.
