Pogba Mocked By Teammates Over Charity Dinner Accident

Sometimes even the most expensive footballer in the world can become the butt of all jokes. Paul Pogba along with his other Manchester United teammates were at a charity dinner organised at Old Trafford in a bid to raise money for UNICEF.

Despite the dinner being a formal event, the Red Devils couldn't help themselves from bringing in a little mischief to the night. Memphis Depay was the man with the cam as he didn’t hesitate to capture every moment from the evening of the dinner for social media, including a particular mishap by Paul Pogba. It was the highlight of the evening as Pogba spilled red juice all over his Tuxedo which leading to the amusement of Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard. Memphis Depay couldn't help but post the hilarious moments on Snapchat; Depay also had some advice for Pogba suggesting him to get a new suit. Memphis then gave a little message to all the Manchester United supporters, "Paul is red. United is red. Manchester is red. And Paul is red."

The Dutchman didn’t just stop there as he used a Snapchat filter on Marouane Fellaini, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Paul Pogba and also made the Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw blush with the camera lens on him.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho and Bastian Schweinsteiger were also present at the charity night. Schweinsteiger had returned to first-team training after being left out from the squad for the most of the season. Jose Mourinho was more than happy to raise money for the charity dinner by putting up ‘The Mourinho Collection’ which included an Adidas hoodie signed by Mourinho, the scarf that he held at Old Trafford when he was unveiled as the Red’s manager and a training top.Mourinho, meanwhile, went on to give away his watch in the last minute to the delight of all the guests. The 53-year-old Portuguese manager’s items alone fetched £30,000 and the event all together raised a massive £215,000."Charity is one of the amazing things in society, and I have always been very supportive of Unicef. You know that the money is going to the right place and is going to make a big difference,” said the Manchester United manager. "Tonight the money is going to help children in Thailand, so we know that we are going to contribute to a better future – I think it is difficult to have a better feeling than that."Daley Blind also had a few words to say about the charity event, "It’s for a great cause; it’s so important for kids to have an education, so it’s great to be here as a team and raise as much money as we can to help the children in Thailand have a good future. I think everybody enjoys doing charity events like this; making the children happy makes us happy, so it’s a good thing."Manchester United will be hoping to get back to winning ways again as they prepare to face Fenerbahçe in the Europa League on Thursday.
