– Gareth Bale has signed a new contract with Real Madrid – The striker is linked to the club until 30 June 2022 – The former Tottenham star will be earning £350,000 per week

       Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has signed a new £350,000-per-week contract. Recall that the striker joined Real Madrid in a record-breaking switch from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013. 

 The player has made over 130 appearances for his new club, netting 62 goals. Bale helped Real to win a number of titles, including two UCL trophies and the 2013/14 Copa del Rey. Meanwhile,  Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly earns £288,000 per week. 

        Real Madrid’s official statement read: “Real Madrid CF and Gareth Bale have agreed to the extension of the player’s contract, which is linked to the club until 30 June 2022.”
