Okorocha Swears in New Appointees


Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, yesterday swore-in his commissioner for Information, Hon Obinna Nshirim and other political appointees into his administration.
   The son of the former Governor of Imo State, Evan Jr. was inaugurated as the Transition Committee Chairman of Ikeduru Local Government Area.

  Also, DIG, Hilary Opara (retd) became the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, while Mr. Bonaventure Ibebuike is the Chairman State Civil Service Commission. Also inaugurated was the State Judicial Service Commission  with  Teddy Akwari, Nelson Ezerioha, Iheukwumere Alaribe and Kelechi Iwueze as members;while  six new permanent secretaries, Dr. Irene Chima, Mrs. Pat Ekennia, Mr. Augustine Uzoigwe, Mrs. Rose Izuogu, Barr. Ifeanyi Nwobi and Mr. A.O. Amadi were sworn in.
   In his speech, the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, said,   "You must work for the success of the rescue mission agenda in making sure that the people of this state, feel the impact of our policies and programmes.
